What are the best Adobe Firefly alternatives?
Firefly is the right pick if your team already lives in Creative Cloud. It hands off to Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop and licenses a long list of partner models, including Runway's. Look elsewhere if you want Gaussian splats, image-to-3D you can export to a game engine, or a node graph that is not an enterprise product. OTOY Studio covers all three on one canvas. Runway is the pick for its own video models. Krea is strongest for images. ComfyUI runs open models on your own GPU.

Choose by what you need
- 3D and splats in the same project as video: OTOY Studio. Make a mesh you can export as GLB, or FBX and OBJ from Meshy and Rodin, or a splat as PLY, and use it to drive a video model. See image to 3D model and how to make a Gaussian splat.
- A node graph without an enterprise contract: OTOY Studio or ComfyUI. Firefly Graph launched for Creative Cloud for Enterprise first.
- Runway's own models: Runway, or keep Firefly, which licenses them.
- Image exploration: Krea, with real-time generation and LoRA training. See Krea alternatives.
What you give up by leaving Firefly
- Creative Cloud handoff to Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. If you leave Firefly but keep Adobe apps, see AI in After Effects and AI in Photoshop.
- Adobe's licensing position. Adobe says it does not train on your content and offers Firefly models trained for commercial use.
- The lowest entry price. Firefly Standard is $9.99 a month.
