This release brings enhanced layout tools for multi-selected nodes, batch asset placement from the Library, and improvements to the asset picker modal. Seedream 5 Pro now offers explicit control over output format.

## Floating layout toolbar for multi-selections

A new floating toolbar appears when you select multiple nodes on the canvas, providing quick access to layout actions. You can arrange the selection into rows, columns, or a grid with a single click. The toolbar expands to offer additional options for distributing nodes evenly and aligning them to edges or centers. Each layout operation is grouped as a single undoable step, and the toolbar intelligently wraps its controls to fit narrower canvases.

## Drag to re-flow a selection

You can now reshape a multi-selection by dragging any corner of its bounding frame. As you drag, the nodes are dynamically re-flowed into a grid that fits the new rectangle, snapping to whole columns with adjustable gaps. This provides a direct, tactile way to arrange nodes without using dropdown menus.

## Multi-select and place Library assets

The Library panel now supports selecting multiple assets at once using standard keyboard shortcuts (⌘/Ctrl-click and Shift-click). Dragging any selected asset card will place all selected assets onto the canvas simultaneously, automatically arranging them in a grid and leaving them selected for immediate use with the layout tools. The drag preview shows a stacked fan of thumbnails to indicate a multi-asset placement.

## Resizable asset picker modal

The modal for browsing and selecting images from the asset library is now fully resizable, opening at a larger default size. You can drag any corner to adjust the window dimensions to your preference. The view controls for sorting and adjusting tile size are always visible, and hovering over an asset card now displays its resolution alongside the file size and aspect ratio.

## Quality of life

- The undo and redo commands now preserve your current node selection, making it easier to experiment with different layouts.
- Project tabs in tab navigation mode no longer shift position when the save status text changes.
- For assets with a source project, you can now open that project in a new tab directly from its tile in the canvas asset shelf.
- The Seedream 5 Pro image generation node includes a new Output Format parameter, defaulting to PNG, for explicit control over the generated file type.
